050 Bass Rosin

Soft: The 050 Bass Soft rosin is a powerful, noble sounding rosin, for all playing situations. It is sticky enough to withstand any powerful orchestral/chamber situation, without ever getting gritty or noisy, which also makes it perfectly suitable for soloing. Sound wise, it produces a powerful, focused and deep tone, with a pleasant dark note, yet not lacking any clarity and resonance, even with the most nuanced playing. 

Hard: This rosin, especially designed for chamber and solo playing, is also perfect for orchestral players who prefer a harder blend, and is ideal in warmer areas and seasons!  
Tone wise, it retains the usual power and fullness you’re used to with 050 Rosin, with a pleasant added shimmer and increased clarity! 

Super Sticky: The Super Sticky is the ultimate orchestral bass rosin! Developed with players from the bass section of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, this rosin turns you bass into a powerhouse, with a big, dark -yet clear and focused tone, plenty of punch and projection and crisp articulation, which will make it easy for the bass to be heard even in the largest halls and loudest situations. At the same time, this rosin adds no grit or background noise to your playing, ensuring a smooth and noble tone even when playing extreme dynamics. 

Dark Formula: The Dark Formula is a one of its kind bass rosin, for the advanced bassist who is looking for something special. This rosin contains a special ingredient which gives it its unique texture and feel. While this rosin feels less sticky when applied, it is as powerful and grabs as good as our Soft blend (if not more), a smooth feel, especially during the hotter months –this rosin will behave very well even when temperatures hit the ceiling, without the risk of becoming too runny. Even after multiple strokes the sound remains clean, with little to no background noise. Sound wise, compared to its “sisters”, this blend enhances even more the low-mid overtones, resulting in a warm, vibrant, smooth and clear tone which will work perfectly both in solo and orchestral playing.
