Continuing the tradition of the original MAGELLAN® amplifier design, the MAGALLAN® 800+ represents a new pinnacle in lightweight, high-output, versatile, bass amplification. Our years of research, design and manufacturing expertise, along with listening to players’ needs, has helped us to develop this model utilizing stringent design parameters for performance, form, function, fit and finish. The new MG-800+ continues the reputation of the original design as a simple interface for the user and one of the most musical amplifiers available.
The MG-800+ is a solid-state, all analog design and provides the tonal palette needed to cover all of the bassist’s amplifier requirements; from natural, pristine, transparent reproduction of the bass instrument to classic, vintage harmonic textures with “weighted feel to the notes”. This is packaged within the classic Magellan styling and all-aluminum chassis, weighing only 6.25 lbs.
The expanded feature set and output power level make this amplifier an essential tool on the global stage, and with its universal power supply, the MAGELLAN® 800+ can be used with any voltage around the world without modification.
