Our Super Polished strings deliver the punch of stainless steel round wounds with the buttery feel of flats. Using our flexible Olinto hex cores and gauges, we polish away ridges for a smoother feel—far surpassing conventional half-rounds. The result? A unique tone that sits perfectly between flats and rounds
This set is compatible with Fender® vintage THROUGH BODY Mustang® bass guitars.
This set DOES NOT work with newer Mustang® models that have TOP LOADING BRIDGES. Top loading models take any La Bella short scale set.
- Polished Stainless Steel Round Wound
- Compatible with Fender® Vintage through body Mustang bass guitars.
- Wound Length of 34″ / the distance from the ball-end to where the silk begins is 34″. This includes a 1.75″ flexible tail by the ball-end.
- Light Tension
- String Gauges: .047, .068, .080, .107
- Made in the USA with American Wire
- Packaged using MAP Technology (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) to prevent tarnishing and ensure freshness
Off-Label Use: This set is not intended to fit or perform well with other models of bass guitars that also have 30″ scales where the strings are installed through the body of the bass.
