Swing Bass 66 Billy Sheehan Long Scale – Custom Gauge 43–110
These strings, custom gauged by Billy Sheehan, provide the time-tested Rotosound Swing Bass 66 standard set with two special advantages.
A slightly lighter G string provides more even string-to-string tension across the neck and makes bending easier. A heavier E string delivers a tighter low end with increased mass for more volume in the lower register. The .110 gauge also facilitates tuning down to a low “D” without the string bottoming out or losing intonation.
